—Making Others Better in Pitts Pa - Happy Thanksgiving—
MOB Charities in Pittsburgh. PA 11/21/2010 from Christina Castillo on Vimeo.
***Great day to our world wide viewing audience***
It feels like a long time since we have put out our weekly press releases. For that we apologize. Believe it or not we have been extremely busy, as is the case for years. But we have not been by our computer as often as possible.
-M.O.B. in Pitts Pa-
We did have a Fan Send off last Friday 11/19 at Oakland Raiders Hqs, as Mama Love and I made our way to Pitts Pa.
*Helping the U.S.O. Sat 11/20/2010*
The trip overall was wonderful being that some of our M.O.B. East Affiliates led by Peggy Holmes, The D.C. Metro Raiders booster Club out of Washington D.C. and Filipino Raider gathered many members of the World wide Raider Nation in Pittsburgh Pa last Sat 11/20 and raised over $1000.00 for the Nations finest, UNITED STATES OFFICERS (U.S.O) that serve in the military. As Fans for Humanity we support a good cause locally in Making Oakland Better and World wide in Making Others Better.
Great Job to Peggy Holmes, her staff, supporters from the D.C. Metro Raiders Booster Club, and Filipino Raider of our M.O.B. East for being such great hosts last weekend.
***Raiders coming out of the Bye week flat***
No disrespect to the Pittsburgh Steelers who came out ready to play last Sunday after losing at home in front of a national viewing audience against the New England Patriots the week before.
We knew they were going to come out with a chip on their shoulder.
Yet after witnessing the game in person live, the Steelers did nothing “Fancy Smancy” to beat the Raiders. They ran plays I would best describe as “Bread and Butter”, basic fundamentals.
Our Raiders on the other hand, with the exception of a few drives and plays, seemed like they lacked the emotion and intensity they displayed 3 weeks leading up to the bye week. This includes the players and their preparation for the game- coachs.
The Bye week, yes probably got alot of our players healed up but unfortunately our Raiders did not possess that edge they have been displaying. Lets hope this is another “wake up call” for our Raiders like losing too the 0-5 S.F. Niners back in week 6. The division is still ours for the taking.
Its time for the Raiders to take things “personally” again and have a chip on their shoulders as we host the Miami Dolphins this weekend. We can use some home cooking. See you there and MAKE ALOT OF NOISE ON DEFENSE.
